Designing recovery sessions members book again

4 min readUpdated 3 October 2026

Recovery sessions often blur together: some stretching, some breathing, a calm room. Members enjoy them but struggle to say why they should return. Structure fixes that.

A three-part structure

  1. Check in — ask how the body feels and note one tight area.
  2. Work — mobility, stretching or breathwork aimed at that area.
  3. Re-test — repeat the first movement so the member feels the difference.

Close with the next step

End by naming what improved and suggesting when to come back. A visible before-and-after plus a clear next booking is what turns a nice hour into a habit.
